Casual Dining Super Server Program

Guest comfort, the key to the success of any business, is most significantly affected by the communications skills of those restaurant staff with whom guests come in contact during their visit.

As with all businesses that provide goods and services to consumers, the hospitality business is now serving guests who are more widely traveled and sophisticated and, who have higher expectations than any previous generation of consumers. As a consequence, those skills that have been traditionally associated with food service providers are no longer adequate.

All staff members that provide service to guests on a regular basis require new, pro-active communications skills to prepare them to ensure the ongoing comfort of all guests. These skills are best provided by experienced professional trainers.

Program Objectives

In general, the purpose of the proposed program is to offer Guest Service Communications Skills Training to all casual restaurant staff and to produce an increase in sales that is measurable and sustainable.

  • To provide enhanced communications skills for all staff
  • To increase guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • To further enhance the restaurant's reputation as a leader in customer service
  • To increase employee job satisfaction and personal pride

  • Developing a Training Initiative specifically for the restaurant
  • Providing a Food Service Communications Skills Seminar/Workshop
  • Providing In-Location Implementation Coaching
  • Providing Collateral for participants for ongoing support of the program
  • Providing Certificates for successful participants

FSCS (Food Service Communication Skills) SEMINAR/WORKSHOP

WE provide a custom-designed Food Service Communication Skills (FSCS) program for casual dining food service staff. These intensive, yet light-hearted seminar/workshop(s) not only provide all personnel with the communications skills they need to be successful in ensuring guest comfort, but also motivate them to strive for excellence at all times. It instills a new appreciation for their value as Food Service Professionals and with new pride in their own personal performance. Participants are introduced to the Food Service Communication Skills Strategy that is being used with exceptional success by thousands of Hospitality Professionals who have attended David Carr's seminars throughout Canada and The United States. They have the opportunity to become comfortable using the skills in gentle, voluntary group role-playing activities during the workshop that follows the seminar.
